Ingrid Derveaux is a French judge who has been elected as new Secretary General of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN). She is the first woman to lead the Brussels-based Secretariat aiming at promoting EU legal culture amongst judiciary and court staff. Ms. Derveaux has extensive experience in the field of law. She was previously the Head of the International department of the French National School for the Judiciary (ENM). She also worked as Vice-Prosecutor at the Paris Public Prosecutor's office and as a civil and criminal judge at the Cambrai and Nice courts, among other roles. Currently she undertakes her three-year mandate at EJTN to promote judicial training activities such as exchanges, study visits and seminars, which is the EU key actor ensuring high level knowledge and skills for EU judges, prosecutors and court staff.
